Every existing POS comparison is funded by the vendors it ranks. Wikipedia has detailed comparison tables for browsers, databases and version-control systems, and none for point-of-sale software. This is an attempt at the missing one.

- Four values:
yes,partial,no,unknown. Absence of evidence isunknown, neverno. - Every non-obvious claim carries a source URL and retrieval date, graded by strength.
- Every dossier is re-examined by an independent pass instructed to refute it. That pass corrected 47% of the cells it contested.
- Comparison happens within peer groups, never head-to-head across them.
